Angling Trust Individual National Championship 2024
To be held on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal on Saturday the 3rd of August 2024.
This is an individual event scored by overall weight, the winner will become the Individual National Champion 2024.
Pegs are limited and are available on a first come first served basis.
HQ Address for draw: The Slipway Bar & Restaurant, 48 Crabtree Ln, Burscough, Ormskirk L40 0RN
Draw: rolling draw from 8:00am
Fishing: 11:00am – 4:00pm (duration of 5 hours)
Sections: Bridges 25-34 (Saracens Head to Ring O Bells)
Closure of waters for practice: TBC
Nets: All nets must comply with National Environment Agency Byelaws. Two keepnets are not a requirement for the 2024 Individual National.
Licences: All competitors must be in possession of a valid Environment Agency Fishing Licence. Any competitor reported by the Environment Agency to the resulting team on the day of the match will be disqualified.
Optional pools of £10 to be paid on the day if required.
The Individual National Championship is open to individual members of the Angling Trust. Competitors must be 16 years of age or over on the day of the match (unless in possession of a Young Angler Exemption) and an individual member of Angling Trust to be able to fish.

Cancellation/Refunds: Please note: If you wish to cancel a ticket, you are able to do this from your member account by navigating to “Your Dashboard” in the top right of the website and selecting the “Your Competitions” tab. Alternatively, please inform [email protected] by email, and include your name, the name of the qualifier you would like to cancel, your membership number & post code. We require 3 days notice prior to the qualifier in order to process a refund. Any notification outside of this time scale will not be entitled to receive a refund. Please note: There is no secondary market for the sale or transfer of any tickets.
