Specimen Sea Fish Awards Scheme Competition
This popular sea fishing awards programme is run by the Angling Trust and supported by Glasgow Angling Centre.
This annual competition opens on 1st December and closes on 30th November of the following year. It is open to all paid up Members of the Angling Trust and Members of our Affiliated Clubs.
It is divided into two sections for fish caught from boats, and for fish caught from the shore.
Prizes
Individual ‘Certificates of Merit’ for all specimen fish registered. For a small fee you can purchase a medal to go with it.
£20 Glasgow Angling Centre Gift Voucher will be awarded to the Adult and Junior member who registers the best specimen fish of the month.
£75 Glasgow Angling Centre Gift Voucher will be awarded to five members as bonus end of season awards.
The Sea Angling News trophy is awarded to the affiliated club that registers the most amount of boat and shore specimen fish claims annually. Winners will be announced in the Sea Section email Newsletter at www.anglingtrust.net/subscribe
