Angling Trust Youth Loch Style National 2021 Opens 24th August
Angling Trust Youth Loch Style National Championship 2021
Draycote Water, Rugby
Sunday 12th September 2021
Open to all young Fly Anglers between the ages of 12 & 17
We are pleased to announce the Angling Trust EYFF Loch Style Youth National is back after the unfortunate postponement in 2020.
This year’s event is hosted at the ever-popular Draycote Reservoir, Rugby and will be fished on Sunday 12th September.
This is a wonderful opportunity for young male and female anglers between the ages of 12-17 to fish for the coveted English Youth National Champion Trophy and to fish against their peers in Loch Style fishing from boats.
There will not be the usual qualification for next year’s EYFF team, due to the 2019 finalists being carried over to represent England Youth Fly Fishing in 2021. We are able to relax the maximum age of participants, as long as you are between 12 – 17 years of age on 12th September you are eligible to fish.
Permits and boats for practice day on Saturday 11th September are available at a discounted rate of £17.50 per angler on a full catch and release basis. To book a boat for practice day please contact the fishery direct on 01788 812018 and inform staff you are practicing for the Youth National.
