The Angling Trust

We are a not for profit organisation, representing anglers, fighting for fish, fishing and the environment.

We are recognised by the Government as the National Governing Body for angling in England and partner with Visit Wales and NRW to promote Fishing in Wales.

We are a member-based organisation made up of anglers of all disciplines providing a united front to represent, grow and protect our sport.

Are you passionate about fishing and want to give up your free time to support our wonderful sport? There is such a wide range of opportunities, whether it’s a ‘one off’ or more regular role, in your local community, nationally or even at home, we can help you get involved!

Coaching

You may already be assisting in activities within an angling club or project but want to consider becoming a qualified and licensed angling coach. Here you can find out more about acquiring relevant skills and knowledge to help you achieve that
